Spotlight on Koronivia Research Station

Check out this great video about the demonstration dairy farm established at Koronivia Research Station in Suva as part of the Fiji Dairy Industry Development Initiative.

The video, produced by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade, stars our wonderful team member Mr Qoriniasi Cama Gucake.

Mr Gucake is a tropical farming expert with more than 35 years’ experience.

He plays a key role at the demonstration farm established at Koronivia Research Station, which the Fiji Dairy Industry Development Initiative (FDIDI) is using to teach Fijian dairy farmers and Ministry of Agriculture staff new technologies in dairying.

Prime is currently implementing Phase II of the FDIDI on behalf of the New Zealand Government.

This activity aims to strengthen the sustainability of the dairy industry value chain, with a particular focus on the smallholder farming sector.

It runs through until 2020.
