Mr Suliasi Cama Tikoitoga is an experienced dairy farm manager, having worked on commercial beef and dairy farms in Fiji and New Zealand for more than 15 years.
He is passionate about developing the dairy industry in Fiji and recently returned to Suva from New Zealand to take up a role as Field Manager within the Fiji Dairy Industry Development Initiative (FDIDI), which Prime is implementing on behalf of the New Zealand Government.
Mr Tikoitoga manages the demonstration farm established by the FDIDI at Koronivia Research Station, which the programme uses to teach Fijian dairy farmers and Ministry of Agriculture staff new technologies in dairying. He is skilled in pasture management, setting up on-farm procedures and standards, managing and training staff, planning and budgeting, farm maintenance and animal health.
Mr Tikoitoga has also conducted specialist training in (AI) artificial insemination, Lean Management, Train the Trainer, milk quality and fencing. He completed Primary ITO (Industry Technology Organisation) Levels 1-4 in New Zealand, after undertaking short courses within the dairy sector in Fiji.
