Engineer Waqar Ahmad

Engineer Waqar Ahmad has strong design skills in the planning, execution, monitoring and management of civil engineering projects. He has nine years’ professional experience, predominantly in Pakistan, and specialises in water resources and rural infrastructure.

Eng. Waqar was the lead engineer for Prime’s year-long irrigation infrastructure development project in Bamyan Province, Afghanistan.

His role involved carrying out site-specific technical and environmental feasibility studies for several different hydraulic structures, including check dams and irrigation canals.

Eng. Waqar has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Water Resources Engineering.

He has an excellent command of design and modelling software.
